Warranty Coordinator, Burr Ridge, IL

Are you detail-oriented, organized, and passionate about delivering exceptional service?
Finkbiner Equipment is looking for a Warranty Coordinator to play a key role in supporting our service operations by managing warranty claims, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with manufacturer and company standards.

As a Warranty Coordinator, you’ll be at the center of our warranty process, ensuring everything runs efficiently while partnering with our service teams, manufacturers, and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare, submit, and track warranty claims as directed by the Warranty Manager.
  • Monitor warranty work in process (WIP) for all Finkbiner locations in coordination with the Warranty Manager.
  • Invoice warranty work orders and ensure timely processing.
  • Track claim status, including denied or outstanding claims, and advise the Warranty Manager.
  • Create and manage reports and spreadsheets to track warranty data.
  • Coordinate required warranty inspections with the service department.
  • Ensure proper registration of all new and extended warranties.
  • Manage the return of parts for warranty evaluation.
  • Communicate professionally with employees, vendors, and customers.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Working knowledge of warranty programs, claims processing, and service procedures.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma required
  • 2+ years of experience as a Warranty Coordinator, preferred
  • General mechanical knowledge
