Warranty Coordinator, Burr Ridge, ILAre you detail-oriented, organized, and passionate about delivering exceptional service?
Finkbiner Equipment is looking for a Warranty Coordinator to play a key role in supporting our service operations by managing warranty claims, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with manufacturer and company standards.
As a Warranty Coordinator, you’ll be at the center of our warranty process, ensuring everything runs efficiently while partnering with our service teams, manufacturers, and internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare, submit, and track warranty claims as directed by the Warranty Manager.
- Monitor warranty work in process (WIP) for all Finkbiner locations in coordination with the Warranty Manager.
- Invoice warranty work orders and ensure timely processing.
- Track claim status, including denied or outstanding claims, and advise the Warranty Manager.
- Create and manage reports and spreadsheets to track warranty data.
- Coordinate required warranty inspections with the service department.
- Ensure proper registration of all new and extended warranties.
- Manage the return of parts for warranty evaluation.
- Communicate professionally with employees, vendors, and customers.
- Strong organizational skills and integrity to represent the company with manufacturers.
- Proactive mindset with a commitment to meeting responsibilities and deadlines.
- Ability to analyze complex information, solve problems, and improve processes.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Working knowledge of warranty programs, claims processing, and service procedures.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- High school diploma required
- 2+ years of experience as a Warranty Coordinator, preferred
- General mechanical knowledge
