Project Coordinator Experience

2-5 years of experience in a window / door installation environment preferred but not necessary

Reports to

The Purchasing Manager

General Responsibility

The Project Coordinator purchases materials and works with Salespeople and Customers to meet all customer needs

Key Tasks and Responsibilities
  • The Project Coordinator works with Sales Team and Re-measure Department on all contracts to verify completeness & accuracy of product availability
  • Work with various city/villages on all permitting needs
  • Regular computer use to both order and keep job status up to date
  • Collate & submit purchase orders and purchase requisitions to order materials, goods and supplies using various means
  • Keep in regular contact with customers in regards to lead times via phone and email
  • Interact with the suppliers on a daily basis
  • Review deliveries against the orders
  • The Project Coordinator tracks the status of all orders
  • Deal with non-supplied, under orders, over orders and damaged goods
  • Submit financing information for customers
  • Attend weekly production meetings
  • Code invoices and enter in accounting software for job costing

Project Coordinator Time Requirement

40 hours per week with potential for overtime, availability Monday thru Friday and one Saturday/month
