Business Support Manager
Business Support Manager responsible for analyzing, organizing, and directing office operations and procedures such as record keeping, payroll preparation, information management, filing systems, supply requisition, customer service, scheduling, and other clerical services.
Responsibilities- Oversee daily office operations including record keeping, payroll preparation, information management, physician authentication, vendor payment processing, filing systems, and requisition of supplies.
- Respond to legal requests for billing records, ensuring HIPAA compliance and appropriate consents before release.
- Develop and maintain systems and procedures for record keeping, retrieval, and reporting.
- Review and update departmental/operating group policies relevant to assigned responsibilities.
- Perform bookkeeping functions including entering invoices into the Req Logic system for vendors and service requests requiring payments.
- Validate referring physicians through compliance websites to ensure hospital compliance with state and federal requirements.
- Prepare forms, letters, correspondence, memos, presentations, and other reports.
- Supervise at least two administrative support staff and manage workflow, scheduling, and coverage for assigned staff.
- Perform all other duties assigned in the best interest of the institution.
- Associates degree in business or office management required; bachelors degree preferred.
- Three to five years of office management experience, including supervision of staff.
- High proficiency in keyboarding and complex computer PC software (word processing, spreadsheets, e-mail, databases).
- Ability to use office equipment (photocopying, fax machine, calculator, multiline telephone).
- Math ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, commissions, percentages, and volume.
- Basic accounting principles knowledge (balance sheets, debits and credits).
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills; ability to interact with internal and external customers and direct staff.
- Analytical skills to read, analyze, and interpret data, and present information effectively.
- Advanced organizational and prioritization skills; independent judgment in assigned area.
Normal office environment with little or no exposure to dust or extreme temperature.
Pay and BenefitsPay Range: $47,300.00 - $78,700.00.
