Full Time TIG Welder - Stainless Steel Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced TIG Welder specializing in stainless steel fabrication to join our growing manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional welding expertise, demonstrate precision in their craft, and have a proven track record of producing high-quality welds on stainless steel materials. This full-time position requires an individual who can work independently, interpret complex blueprints, and maintain the highest standards of quality and safety in a fast-paced production environment.

As a TIG Welder specializing in stainless steel, you will be responsible for performing tungsten inert gas (TIG) welding operations on various stainless steel components, assemblies, and structures. You will work closely with our fabrication team to ensure all projects meet exact specifications, quality standards, and delivery timelines.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Precision TIG Welding: Perform high-quality TIG welding on stainless steel materials of varying thicknesses and grades, including 304, 316, and other specialty alloys. Execute welds in all positions (flat, horizontal, vertical, and overhead) while maintaining consistent quality and appearance.
  • Blueprint Interpretation: Read, interpret, and work from detailed engineering drawings, blueprints, technical specifications, and welding symbols to understand project requirements, dimensions, tolerances, and welding procedures.
  • Fabrication Support: Collaborate with the fabrication team to assemble, fit, and tack components prior to final welding. Ensure proper alignment, fit-up, and positioning of parts according to specifications.

Preferred Experience
  • At least 2 years of TIG welding experience
  • Orbital welding experience a plus
