We are seeking Ambulatory Registered Nurses (RNs) who are dedicated to providing exceptional care to those we serve at Loyola University Medical Center (LUMC) Ambulatory. - Patient Care and Assessment:
Conduct thorough assessments of patients' health status, including vital signs, medical history, and current symptoms. Develop and implement individualized care plans based on these assessments. - Nurse Triage:
Perform initial triage to prioritize patient care by evaluating the urgency of their conditions. Determine appropriate next steps for treatment or referral, ensuring timely and effective care. - Care Coordination and Communication:
Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare providers to coordinate care, ensure effective communication, and manage patient treatments and follow‑ups. - Patient Education and Support:
Provide education to patients and their families about managing health conditions, medication administration, and lifestyle changes. Offer emotional support and answer questions to help patients navigate their care. - Administrative and Documentation Duties:
Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date patient records, including charting care provided, documenting patient interactions, and managing appointment scheduling and other administrative tasks.
- A Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing is required – BSN or ADN
- BLS provider (accredited by the American Heart Association) required prior to hire
- Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Illinois
- 1-2 years of previous experience in a clinical setting
Salary Range: $31.62 - 50.79 per hour
Actual compensation will fall within the range but may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, education, location, licensure, certification requirements, and comparisons to colleagues in similar roles.
