- Patient Care and Assessment:
Conduct thorough assessments of patients’ health status, including vital signs, medical history, and current symptoms; develop and implement individualized care plans. - Nurse Triage:
Perform initial triage to prioritize patient care by evaluating urgency, determining appropriate next steps for treatment or referral, ensuring timely and effective care. - Care Coordination and Communication:
Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare providers to coordinate care, ensure effective communication, and manage patient treatments and follow‑ups. - Patient Education and Support:
Provide education to patients and families about managing health conditions, medication administration, and lifestyle changes; offer emotional support and answer questions to help patients navigate their care. - Administrative and Documentation Duties:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, chart care provided, document patient interactions, and manage appointment scheduling and other administrative tasks.
- Diploma from an accredited nursing school (BSN or ADN).
- BLS certification (American Heart Association) required prior to hire.
- Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Illinois.
- 1–2 years of previous clinical experience.
Salary Range: $31.62 – $50.79 per hour. Actual compensation may vary by experience, qualifications, education, location, licensure, and certifications.
