Account Manager, Client Relationship Manager
About the Role
The Account Manager is responsible for developing, maintaining, and growing strong relationships with partner establishments in the assigned territory. The individual serves as the primary point of contact for accounts, ensuring partners receive the highest level of service, support, and guidance to maximize success with Accel’s gaming offerings.
Responsibilities- Build and maintain strong, long‑term relationships with assigned partner establishments to drive retention, increase market share, and revenue growth.
- Achieve assigned Gross Gaming Revenue (GGR) objectives and maximize account performance through strategic account management.
- Conduct regular visits to partner locations to engage with owners, provide support, gather feedback, identify opportunities, and strengthen relationships.
- Serve as the primary liaison between partner establishments and Accel, managing day‑to‑day communications, issue resolution, and partner satisfaction.
- Analyze account and industry performance data to identify trends, increase gameplay, and provide actionable recommendations that enhance partner performance.
- Educate partners on gaming products, promotional programs, compliance requirements, and industry best practices.
- Ensure optimal service levels by coordinating with internal teams to resolve operational issues and support partner needs.
- Partner with internal stakeholders and revenue team members to drive engagement, support business growth objectives, and identify and cultivate new business opportunities.
- Collaborate with Marketing to develop and implement customized on‑site marketing materials and promotional initiatives.
- Maintain accurate account records and performance reporting, stay informed on company products, regulatory requirements, and industry trends, and perform other duties as assigned.
- Previous account management and/or outside sales experience (plus).
- 2‑4 years of hospitality, restaurant, bar, entertainment, gaming, or related service industry experience preferred.
- Strong professional presence, ability to adapt, organize, and multi‑task.
- Capability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment with extensive travel within the assigned region.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong attention to detail and follow‑through.
- Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
- Ability to interact with local bar, restaurant, and truck stop owners as well as leaders of non‑profit organizations.
- Valid driver’s license and minimum age of 21 years.
Base salary: $50,000‑$70,000 with commission. Total potential compensation up to $150,000 per year.
