About the Role:

The Account Executive at Midwest Promotional Group (MPG) plays a pivotal role in driving the company’s sales growth by developing and managing key client accounts across the region. This position focuses on building strong, long-term relationships with national and major accounts through strategic consultative sales approaches and effective territory management. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, executing cold calling campaigns, and delivering tailored digital advertising solutions that meet client needs.

By managing the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing, the Account Executive ensures consistent achievement of sales revenue targets and contributes to the overall success of MPG. This role requires a proactive, results-driven professional who thrives in a dynamic environment and is committed to exceeding client expectations while fostering business growth.

Minimum Qualifications
  • 3+ Years of relevant experience.
  • Proven experience in account development and management, preferably within digital advertising or promotional sales.
  • Demonstrated success in consultative sales and territory management with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and influence clients at all organizational levels.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools to manage accounts and track sales performance.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with national accounts and major corporate clients.
  • Familiarity with the Midwest promotional market and regional business landscape.
  • Background in digital advertising platforms and campaign management.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Additional training or certification in sales methodologies or account management.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with major and national accounts to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, and strategic outreach within the assigned territory.
  • Manage the sales pipeline effectively, from initial contact through negotiation and closing, to meet or exceed sales revenue goals.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to design and deliver customized digital advertising and promotional solutions tailored to client objectives.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to adapt sales strategies and maintain a competitive edge in the industry.

The required skills such as account development, major and national account management, and consultative sales are essential for identifying client needs and delivering tailored solutions that drive revenue growth. Cold calling and territory management skills enable the Account Executive to proactively generate leads and expand the client base within the assigned region.
