The Tower Technician works with cell phone towers to provide wireless communications services. ATower Technicianmay assist in setting support infrastructure to build towers from the ground up. They also conduct routine maintenance while also installing more delicate equipment antennas, lighting at the top of the towers which requires additional education, experience, and training. When at the telecom job sites, the focus is always on efficiency, quality, and safety.

• Ability to work with advanced hand/power tools and alignment tools
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude
• Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard best practices
• Basic computer skills
• Must be RF Awareness, CPR/FIRST AID, OSHA 10, Comtrain (or equivalent) certified
• Must be able to travel away from home for 3 - 6 weeks at a time
• Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record
• Must have basic hand tools, full climbing gear, boots, work clothes, PPE
