About the Role
Spotting a solution and fixing a problem is a tremendous technical skill set. It requires diligence, determination, and a knack for knowledge. At Canon USA, we need technicians who provide basic technical expertise on Canon products, delivering operational, maintenance, and networking support to our valued customers.
Responsibilities- Diagnose basic mechanical, software, network, and system failures using established procedures.
- Service and repair designated equipment to Canon standards and specifications.
- Maintain working knowledge and aptitude of multiple product groups, including troubleshooting and diagnostics.
- Provide efficient, responsive, and accurate Field/Shop/on‑site maintenance that meets or exceeds customer demands.
- Properly maintain technical information, including Field Service Reports, Expense Reports, and Canon property.
- Provide direction to less experienced technicians on maintaining technical records.
- Offer solutions for escalated technical and/or customer service‑related problems across requested territories.
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent with 1–2 years of related experience.
- Basic understanding of internet environments and ability to complete the 120‑day introductory period and the PDIF (Printing and Digital Imaging Foundations) new‑hire class.
- Valid driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and ability to travel as required.
- Ability to obtain and maintain any necessary security or customer clearances to enter premises.
- Physical capability to lift 50 pounds and be active more than 50 % of the time (walking, standing, stooping/kneeling).
- Compliance with customer policies, including COVID‑19 vaccination or other measures, as required.
- Acceptance of hourly compensation of $21.50 – $31.74 and eligibility for a transportation allowance.
- Hourly rate: $21.50 – $31.74.

Full‑time on‑site. This position requires full‑time presence at the assigned office(s)/worksite(s)/territory on scheduled workdays.
