PT On-call Facilities​/Shipping and Receiving

Overview

We are seeking a PT On‑call Facilities/Shipping and Receiving Specialist to join our team at IST Management Services in the Glendale, CA general area and support the West Los Angeles location. Ideal candidates will have relevant experience in shipping and receiving, mail operations, customer service, and a desire to grow their professional career in business services. This is a part‑time, on‑call position.

Hourly Compensation: $19.00–$21.00 per hour.

Schedule:

Monday‑Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM. No nights or weekends.

• Receive, process, and deliver mail and packages.
• Receive and send overnight packages.
• Demonstrate flexibility in satisfying customer demands in a high‑volume, production environment.
• Sort incoming mail and handle according to established procedures.
• Handle hospitality tasks such as conference room setups and furniture configurations.
• Respond to facilities requests and reporting.
• Adhere to all safety procedures.
• Take direction from the site manager and the assistant site manager.
• Participate in cross‑training.
• Perform other tasks as assigned to uphold client and site needs.

• Valid driver’s license.
• Prior facilities, mail, or shipping/receiving experience is a plus.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Professional appearance and demeanor; excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Keyboarding and Windows‑environment PC skills.
• Ability to work individually or in a team environment; ability to multi‑task effectively.
• Ability to meet the employer’s attendance policy.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs.
