Float Team Cleaner / Janitor / Custodial

Howard Building Maintenance is hiring a full-time Float Team Cleaner to help support a variety of commercial cleaning accounts throughout the Treasure Valley. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, independence, teamwork, and staying active throughout their shift. As part of our Float Team, you'll play an important role in helping cover accounts, support special projects, assist with staffing needs, and help ensure our clients consistently receive exceptional service.

This position is based in Caldwell,  operates Monday–Friday from 4:30 PM to 12:30 AM. Pay is $18.00–$19.00 per hour depending on experience, with full-time hours of 35–40 weekly.

Responsibilities may include dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and restroom cleaning; trash removal and maintaining clean common areas; restocking janitorial and paper supplies; facility inspections and reporting concerns; assisting with deliveries and supply organization; supporting special cleaning projects when needed; and maintaining high-quality cleaning standards across all accounts.

We're searching for someone who is dependable and hardworking; positive, respectful, and team-oriented; comfortable working independently and staying self-motivated; detail-oriented with pride in their work; flexible and adaptable to different work environments; and comfortable with physical work and being active throughout the shift.

Requirements include a valid driver's license, reliable transportation to and from our Caldwell shop, a smartphone required for communication, ability to pass background and drug screening, authorized to work in the United States, and professional cleaning experience preferred, but we are willing to train the right person.
