Commercial Operations Assistant to oversee both the maintenance and repair operations of the company buildings and grounds, and vehicle fleet, ensuring safety, compliance, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness. This role also provides transportation and delivery services, assuring safety and compliance. The combined facility operations with fleet operations, requires strong organizational, technical, and leadership skills.

Essential Job Functions- Deliver and pick up a variety of products and materials utilized for Witco's commercial operations.
- Inspect buildings and grounds to ensure compliance with safety, accessibility, and environmental codes.
- Identify and prioritize maintenance, repair, and capital improvement needs.
- Schedule and coordinate repair projects, cleaning routines, and facility upgrades.
- Supervise maintenance staff and delegate tasks for repairs, cleaning, and facility upkeep.
- Coordinate with third party vendors for buildings, grounds, and safety services evaluating and ensuring work performed is to company quality and safety standards.
- Monitor budgets for facilities operations, repairs, and supplies.
- Enforce workplace safety, emergency, and security protocols.
- Maintain vehicle fleet record keeping, reporting.
- Plan and schedule preventive maintenance; coordinate urgent repairs as needed.
- Establish efficient routes, transportation schedules, and delivery logistics.
- Monitor fuel usage, maintenance costs, and fleet performance metrics.
- Develop and implement fleet policies, procedures, and service standards.
- Train staff on safe and efficient vehicle operation.
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid, clean driver's license with at least 3 years' driving experience
- 3+ years repairs or facilities maintenance experience
- Familiarity with operating larger vehicles and motorized lifts
- Ability to maintain accurate records of all vehicles, equipment, and facilities in spreadsheets
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
- Clean and neat appearance; professional demeanor
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
