We are looking for a Wedding & Conference Services Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will bring a strong, career‑focused background in events management and be detail‑driven, guest‑centric and naturally creative. This role oversees weddings of varying complexity and balances operational precision with an elevated, personalized client experience.

• Specifically handle the wedding market (contracts, responding to inquiries, etc.)
• Manage internal and external social events and corporate catering market
• Respond quickly to guest requests in a professional manner and follow up to ensure guest satisfaction within 24 hours
• Clearly communicate event details to clients and hotel departments via contracts, banquet event orders (BEO), résumés and internal meetings
• Conduct site inspections with prospective couples and clients, showcasing the hotel
• Close the best opportunities based on market conditions and location needs
• Lead cross‑functional coordination with Banquets, Culinary, Rooms, Sales and external partners to ensure seamless event execution
• Attend all hotel‑required meetings and trainings
• Manage wedding room blocks and meeting space for assigned weddings
• Anticipate, address, and resolve guest concerns with professionalism and impeccable service
• Maintain the integrity of Opera Sales & Event Management (OSEM) at all times
• Create floor plans that optimize space and ensure a memorable guest experience
• Understand event financials, including billing accuracy, deposit schedules, minimum spend requirements, and revenue‑optimization opportunities

• Strong passion for weddings and the drive to translate client visions into successful events
• Minimum 2 years’ experience as Events/Wedding Manager or similar role
• Degree or equivalent in Hospitality Management an asset
• Computer literate with Opera software (OSEM), Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, etc.) and Social Table (plan)

• Rate of Pay: $65,000 – $70,000 per year, dependent on experience

You may be required to work on holidays, weekends, overnights and other non‑day shifts. Submission of your application indicates you are able to meet these requirements as needed.
