Position: Prep Cook - The Dusty Boot Saloon & Dance Hall
Location: Banff

We’re seeking Prep Cooks to join our team at The Dusty Boot! The Dusty Boot Saloon & Dance Hall, the home of fancy cocktails, cold beer, western grub and live music in downtown Banff. A dressed-up saloon in a dressed-down cocktail lounge featuring weathered wood, warm leather, the glow of neon, and the sweet sound of boots on the dance floor.

Bar games, cowboy karaoke, billiards and a chef-driven menu (served until 10pm). Saddle up and settle in. Must be whisky drinking age, 18+.

Our Prep Cooks are the backbone of the kitchen, ensuring everything is ready for service. You’ll chop, measure, and prepare ingredients with care, maintain a clean and organized workspace, and support the Chefs to keep the kitchen running smoothly. This position is part of a shared kitchen team supporting both The Dusty Boot and The Balkan Restaurant.

  • Preparing ingredients, ensuring standards are being met
  • Work closely with the Chefs and kitchen team members to ensure a seamless service
  • Maintain kitchen cleanliness and organization
  • Assist with training new team members as required
  • What You Have:

  • Excellent work ethic and communication skills
  • 1-2 years of experience working in a kitchen (asset)
  • You thrive in a fast-paced environment
