** Job Summary**(Essential Functions)
Responsible for daily course maintenance. Under the direction of the Director of Agronomy or Assistant Superintendent, operates light motorized equipment and trucks on the golf course and does related work as needed for golf course maintenance.

*** Knowledge of tools and maintenance of landscaped areas.
* Operate trucks and light motorized equipment.
* Knowledge of agronomy, turfgrass science, and the rules of golf.
* Ability to follow oral and written directions.
* Knowledge of and ability to perform the required role in emergency situations.
** Job Tasks/Duties
*** Mows greens, tees, aprons, and approaches to greens and other areas not accessible with gang mowers; rakes sand traps with power rakes.
* Maintains gasoline, oil, and other equipment fluid levels daily; reports equipment problems and failures to the equipment manager immediately.
* Performs basic preventive maintenance on equipment as directed by the Assistant Superintendent or Equipment Manager, and returns equipment to its designated location at the maintenance facility. Utilizes loaders to remove dirt, debris, and other materials.
* May occasionally operate gang units in the absence of the Equipment Operator.
* May be asked to change pins and tee markers.
* Performs other duties as directed by the Assistant Superintendent and or Director of Agronomy.
** Physical Demands and Work Environment
*** Must be able to push, pull, or lift up to 50 pounds.
* Regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and outside weather conditions.
* Frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles and toxic or caustic chemicals.
* The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
* Frequent lifting, bending, climbing, stooping, and pulling.
* On occasion, must be able to do heavy lifting and physical activity for up to 12 hours.
* Must be able to work from the ground at times.
* Must be able to stand for extended periods.
* Must be able to perform tasks in multiple types of conditions, hot, cold, noisy, dusty, and rainy as needed.## Qualifications
** Experience
* ** Minimum 2 years of golf course maintenance or related experience
