Equipment: U‑2

• Receives, stores, and issues hand tools, machine tools, dies, replacement parts, shop supplies, and equipment such as measuring devices in an industrial establishment.
• Keeps records of tools issued to and returned by workers, searches for lost or misplaced tools, prepares periodic inventory, or maintains perpetual inventory and requisitions stock as needed.
• Unpacks and stores new equipment; visually inspects tools or measures with micrometer for wear or defects and reports damaged or worn‑out equipment to superiors.
• Coats tools with grease or other preservative using a brush or spray gun, and attaches identification tags or engraves identifying information on tools and equipment using an electric marking tool.

• Must be able to gather/transport TMDE/PMEL equipment/tools and deliver them to and from the PMEL LAB using a government‑provided vehicle when required.
• Familiarity with 9 MXS Support section SOPs for PMEL procedures and understanding of PMEL program management responsibilities as retained by 9 MXS.

  Mon‑Fri; 0700‑1600
• Swing shift:
  Mon‑Fri; 1500‑2400
• Mid shift:
  Sun‑Thurs; 2300‑0800

Hourly wage: $27.90

Additional rate: $6.50 per hour for health and welfare benefits; unused funds roll over into a 401(k) at the end of the year.
