Custodial​/Cleaning Substitutes - District Wide

Available Position:
Custodial/Cleaning Substitute

• Participates in building cleaning activities such as mopping, sweeping, floor cleaning, vacuuming, shampooing carpets, dusting, glass cleaning, floor polishing, spot cleaning, vandalism removal, washroom fixture cleaning, sanitizer, dispenser refilling, and refuse disposal.
• May conduct ground maintenance including landscaping, snow removal, painting, raking, or similar tasks.
• Consults with Lead Custodian regarding unusual maintenance problems and makes recommendations for supplies, materials, and equipment.
• Performs other comparable duties as assigned.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to follow directions with attention to detail.
• Ability to climb 20‑30 feet.
• Ability to lift 50‑60 pounds.
• Endurance to walk/stand for majority of shift.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Starting salary of $17.96 per hour, based on experience. No benefits package is offered.
