Missions In BriefThe Department of Val d'Oise makes the academic success of middle school students one of its major priorities, and currently manages 64,000 middle school students distributed in 114 public middle schools, located throughout the territory and nearly 1,000 college agents responsible for the following missions: reception, maintenance, cleaning, and catering. These are placed under the functional responsibility of the heads of institutions and under the hierarchical responsibility of the departmental institution.
It maintains the premises, furniture, and equipment of the EPLE in working condition and performs preventive and curative maintenance work of the first level in one or more building trades. It carries out the maintenance and beautification of green spaces and supports the maintenance manager.
• Carry out routine maintenance work (cleaning, adjustment) and first-level maintenance (troubleshooting, minor repairs, plastering, painting, plumbing, heating, carpentry, locksmithing, etc.).
• Carry out maintenance of administrative, technical, or specialized premises (classrooms, sanitary, gymnasium, etc.).
• Carry out general maintenance of green spaces and courtyards and beautify them (mowing lawns, cleaning courtyards, pruning hedges, etc.).
• Manage waste produced on site (selective collection, storage, disposal to appropriate channels).
Education level: no required level of education (general education level / professional titles required - required) but 3 years of experience desired in maintenance and building trades. Minimum level of reading and writing.
