Dishwasher part-time

A Dishwasher in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) maintains sanitation of dishes, pots, pans, and utensils. The role ensures a clean, safe, and hygienic environment for residents by operating dish machines, cleaning kitchen areas, and handling waste. They are essential for infection control, strictly adhering to dietary department and health codes while supporting meal service. The position is located at 1065 Bucks Lake Road, Quincy, CA 95971.

Pay range: $18.63 - $23.78 per hour. Six pay increments tied to six years of relevant experience. This is a part‑time role with benefits.

• Previous dishwasher experience preferred.
• Must have a California Food Handler Card or local health department certification.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions; basic reading and communication skills.
• Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift, bend and work in a warm, sometimes wet environment.
• Experience operating commercial dishwashers, ensuring proper water temperatures and chemical concentrations.
• Skilled in scraping, rinsing, and racking soiled dishes, trays, pots, pans, and silverware; hand‑washing larger or specialized items.
• Knowledge of properly storing, drying, and rotating dishes, utensils, and equipment in designated areas.
• Ability to sweep and mop kitchen floors, clean worktables, sinks, walls, and refrigerators.
• Experience emptying trash containers, cleaning garbage cans, and replacing liners.
