As a Maintenance Technician, responsible for the efficient operation of the facility maintenance in support of the Distribution / Customer Fulfillment Center, you will:
- Assume major responsibility for the maintenance of material handling equipment.
- Adhere to the maintenance schedule and operating procedures for material handling equipment.
- Perform audits related to the integrity and condition of equipment.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area in all material handling equipment storage and maintenance locations within the fulfilment unit.
- Contribute to an environment where IKEA culture is a strong and living reality that embraces the diversity of co-workers and customers.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

JOBTYPE – Permanent, Full-time, Hourly Associate
HOURS:
From 34-40 hours per week (HL3) // Benefits Eligible
SHIFTS – Fully open work schedule availability including evenings, overnights, and weekends required;
Work schedules are published one month in advance.
Facilities Dept | 3rd shift
The hourly pay range for this role is $24.08/hr – $34.01/hr.
QUALIFICATIONS- Ability to interpret and understand maintenance manuals and electrical equipment schematics.
- Ability to partner and support third party vendors while onsite.
- Strong communication skills.
- Industrial equipment mechanics.
- Skilled trade(s).
- Ability to lift, sit, stand, and walk for length of shift.
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
