The RoleAn Engineer 2 will diagnose, provide service, and perform repairs on resort equipment including electrical, plumbing, steam, gas, fire & safety, HVAC refrigeration and respond to inquiries and problems in an efficient, courteous and professional manner to achieve maximum customer satisfaction while complying with all Four Seasons’ policies.
Responsibilities- Complete preventative maintenance of equipment and update appropriate logs.
- Diagnose and assist with repairs of equipment including motors, starters, breakers, chillers and associated equipment throughout the entire building.
- Perform intermediate maintenance and repairs on HVAC‑R, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, kitchen equipment, motors, laundry equipment and building systems.
- Troubleshoot engineering issues and suggest permanent corrective solutions.
- Maintain accurate logs for work orders, inspections, repairs, and compliance records.
- Assist with identifying opportunities to reduce maintenance costs and improve system efficiency.
- Respond to service requests regarding maintenance of rooms and equipment in guest rooms or public area in a timely manner.
- Respond to all emergency conditions such as fires and power failures.
- Understand and implement Engineering Safety Protocols and Standards such as Lock Out / Tag Out Procedure, Kitchen Equipment, Air Handlers, Boilers & Chillers, Emergency Equipment, Personal Protective Equipment, safety work habits, and Knowledge of Radio Communication Codes.
- Identify and follow Elevator Operation Procedures – Elevator Failure, Guest Rescue Procedure, Elevator Equipment Rooms.
- Check various systems such as EMS /BAS System Alarms, Monthly Utility Meter Readings, Chiller Room / Central Plant, Boiler Room, Cooling Towers, Laundry, Steam Boilers, Pool Equipment Room/Cleaner, and Public Area.
- Experience in mechanics, electrical, HVAC‑R, or plumbing is highly preferred.
- 3 to 4 years of employment in a related position with Four Seasons or another organization is required.
- Intermediate working technical knowledge of general building maintenance.
- Hourly: $37.87
