Cleaner EVS Spec Swing Shift - Full time, Public Area Housekeeping (Harrah's SoCal)

This position cleans and maintains all public areas in a manner which reflects the high standard of excellence of the Harrah’s Resort Southern California.

• Maintain assigned areas.
• Provide information and directions to inquiring guests.
• Complete all tasks as assigned by supervisor.
• Clean and sweep paper and debris off the floor.
• Clean and maintain slot machines and stands.
• Clean walls, stalls, shelving, telephones, brass rails, doors, glass, mirrors, and any surface needing cleaning attention.
• Clean and maintain cleanliness of restrooms.
• Clean and refresh ashtrays and ash urns.
• Restock with supplies (paper products) and chemicals in work area as needed.
• Perform proper and trained cleaning procedures when blood‑borne pathogens are involved.
• Vacuum, remove trash, and remove or transport items from one area to another as assigned.
• Mop floors.
• Operate vacuum cleaners or floor cleaning equipment (mop, broom, etc.).
• Meet attendance guidelines and adhere to departmental and company policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Prior custodial or housekeeping experience preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must present a well‑groomed appearance.
• Must be able to work weekends, nights, and holidays.
• Must be able to work in a fast‑paced environment.

• Must be able to lift 50 lbs or more.
• Must be able to manage several tasks during shift.
• Must be able to tolerate secondary smoke.
• Must be able to work in temperatures more than 115°F and in cold temperatures as low as 40°F.
• Must be able to work around crowded inside and outside areas.
• Able to stoop, bend, reach and pull around casino & restroom areas.
• Able to tolerate cleaning chemicals without developing an allergic reaction.
