On Call Cleaning Specialist
This position is based district wide as needed.
ResponsibilitiesAs a Cleaning Specialist, you will help provide a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors by:
- Cleaning and maintaining classrooms, learning areas, hallways, gyms, restrooms, and other assigned spaces.
- Sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, scrubbing, dusting, and emptying trash.
- Setting up and taking down tables, chairs, and equipment for school and athletic events.
- Cleaning and preparing cafeteria and lunch areas.
- Assisting with summer projects, including deep cleaning, classroom preparation, painting, and other building maintenance as assigned by the Facilities Manager.
- Performing light lifting and other custodial duties as needed.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including light lifting and extended periods of standing, walking, bending, and cleaning.
- Positive attitude and commitment to maintaining a safe and clean school environment.
