Grosse Pointe Public Schools is searching for 10-15 full and/or part-time individuals to work during the summer of 2026. If you are looking to work in a fast paced, never boring work space apply soon. This position is perfect for college students home for the summer looking to earn extra money or anyone looking to supplement their income without making a major commitment.
Opportunities to work during holiday breaks is also available.
- General cleaning of building interior
- Maintaining school grounds (exterior)
- Performs other duties as assigned by immediate supervisor
- Knowledge of materials, equipment, and methods commonly used in cleaning operations
- Ability to perform physical labor required for cleaning duties, including relatively long hours while standing
- Ability to follow simple oral and written instructions
- Knowledge of proper use of cleaning equipment
- Ability to work effectively with staff and students
- Ability to lift and carry minimum of 25 lbs.
$16.05/hour, typical shift is M-F 3:00pm- 11:30 and 7:00am - 3:00pm Flexible schedules and part‑time available
