Casino Housekeeper – Casino Morongo

The Casino Housekeeper - CM is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment throughout the Morongo Casino Resort & Spa. This role ensures that public areas, restrooms, offices, and other high-traffic zones remain spotless, sanitized, and in compliance with health and safety standards. The Housekeeper plays a vital role in upholding the resort's presentation standards and contributes to a positive guest experience through diligent attention to cleanliness and detail.

• Performs general cleaning duties throughout the property, including public areas, restrooms, and offices.
• Ensures restrooms are consistently stocked, cleaned, and sanitized to meet hygiene and safety standards.
• Collects and disposes of trash from designated areas, emptying waste receptacles and transporting refuse to appropriate disposal locations.
• Operates and maintains cleaning equipment such as vacuums, sweepers, and other custodial tools in a safe and effective manner.
• Cleans slot machines, counters, mirrors, windows, ashtrays, and surfaces as assigned.
• Ensures the proper use of chemicals, cleaning materials, and supplies in accordance with manufacturer and OSHA guidelines.
• Responds to and reports unsafe conditions, maintenance needs, or unusual cleaning concerns to supervisors.
• Assists with special event setup, teardown, and post-event cleaning.
• Provides courteous guest service while maintaining a professional appearance and demeanor.
• Follows all safety, health, and sanitation procedures to maintain a secure working environment.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

This position does not have direct supervisory responsibilities but may provide guidance or support to other team members.

• Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques, sanitation practices, and cleaning equipment.
• Ability to communicate respectfully and effectively with guests and coworkers.
• Demonstrates high integrity, reliability, and attention to detail.
• Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Maintains a high regard for cleanliness, guest service, and team member relations.

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in housekeeping, custodial services, or janitorial work required.
• Experience working in a casino, hotel, or large public facility preferred.
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques, materials, and safety procedures required.
• Ability to operate standard cleaning equipment and maintain supply inventory accurately.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for guests and staff.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, high-traffic environment.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.

Must have successfully completed a background check and obtained a gaming license issued by the Morongo Gaming Agency, as required.

Must be able to read and interpret documents in English, such as instructions, guidelines, policies, and procedures. Must also be able to communicate clearly and effectively with team members, management, and guests.
