DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Provide direct instruction to general education students
* Develop lesson plans aligned to Common Core State Standards
* Plan, deliver, and evaluate instruction for general education students
* Utilize Differentiated Instruction
* Utilize a variety of instructional methods to maximize student growth and promote Reading Literacy
* Continual review of student data
* Collaborate with special education teachers and administration
* Maintain appropriate contact with parents to enrich student performance
Qualifications
Must hold a Professional Educator License valid in Illinois.
Must meet the requirements set forth by the State of Illinois.
Bachelors from an accredited college or university in Elementary Education or related discipline applicable to teaching assignment.
Salary/Benefits
In accordance with experience and the PNA Contract ).
Salary Range ($49,437 - $66,785)

Dolton School District 149 is a PreK-8th grade school district with a student population of over 2000 students. Elementary Teaching Candidates must possess a growth mindset and be willing to nurture strong relationships with students, parents, and school colleagues. Candidates must also possess the mindset that the social emotional needs of students must be met in order for learning of curriculum to occur.
