- Develop instructional strategies aligned with Illinois English Language Development Standards
- Support students in developing listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills in English
- Collaborate with classroom teachers to support language development in core academic content areas
- Monitor and assess student progress in English language acquisition
- Maintain student language proficiency records and documentation
- Assist with the identification, placement, and monitoring of English Language Learners
- Participate in language program planning and instructional support services
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress
- Support culturally responsive instructional practices
- Attend staff meetings and professional development as directed by administration
- Perform other duties as assigned by administration
REQUIREMENTS
- Meet Illinois State Board of Education Standards
- Hold a valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL)
- Hold an English as a Second Language (ESL) or Bilingual endorsement
Range ($49,437 - $66,785)
