Integrity Trade Services is hiring an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic for our manufacturing client to start immediately at up to $42.00/hr DOE! Receive comprehensive benefits through our client upon hire!
Responsibilities:
We are seeking a multi-skilled Industrial Maintenance Mechanic with a strong electrical background and hands‑on experience in industrial liquid packaging—specifically with pints, gallons, and F‑style bottles. This role involves machine setup and troubleshooting across various packaging equipment, including cappers, cap torque machines, lid de‑nesters, labelers, coders, and box erectors.
- Prepare and set up production machinery according to the manufacturing schedule.
- Perform scheduled maintenance on production and batching equipment.
- Conduct emergency or unscheduled repairs as needed to minimize downtime.
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, replace or repair faulty parts, and make necessary adjustments and tests.
- Identify and report defective materials, improper machine operations, or unusual conditions to supervisors.
- Accurately use a digital volt, ohm, and amp meter for testing electrical circuits.
- Work safely and comply with all OSHA regulations and company safety policies.
- Strong knowledge and experience in hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, metal fabrication, electrical systems (AC/DC circuits), HVAC, air compressors, and air dryers.
- Proficiency in maintaining plant utilities and facility systems, including building, grounds, and forklift maintenance.
- Skilled in operating various types of forklifts.
- Plumbing, piping, and pipe threading
- Electrical conduit installation and distribution systems
- Boilers (high steam pressure) and boiler chemical feed/water testing
- Air compressors (screw type) and air dryers
- Basic pneumatics and hydraulics
- Basic welding (arc, MIG, oxy‑acetylene)
- Metal fabrication
- Gear‑type (positive displacement) pumps, motor and pump couplings
- LP‑type forklift repair
- AC and DC induction motors
- Overtime as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of related maintenance experience.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
- Capable of working independently from verbal, written, and illustrated instructions for installation and maintenance of production equipment.
- Proficient in reading and drawing electrical motor control ladder logic diagrams.
- Basic understanding of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and electronic systems.
- Ability to interpret and work from mechanical/electrical blueprints and maintenance manuals.
- Welding and fabrication skills a plus.
- Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Word and Outlook).
- This is a physically active position requiring regular standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing throughout the shift. Must be able to lift or move items weighing over 50 pounds frequently.
