Solar Project Manager; Commercial​/Industrial

Solar Project Manager | Renewable Energy EPC | Calumet Park, IL | Bonus

Lead high-impact commercial solar and battery storage projects from preconstruction through closeout with a fast-growing renewable energy EPC.

We're seeking a results-driven Solar Project Manager to independently own projects, drive profitability, and deliver safe, on-time, on-budget installations across commercial, healthcare, institutional, and industrial sectors.

• Manage full project lifecycle: preconstruction planning, buyouts, scheduling, field coordination, and closeout.
• Own budgets, schedule of values, monthly billings, cash flow forecasting, and change order estimation.
• Coordinate subcontractors and installers; run project meetings; deliver weekly client progress reports.
• Enforce contract compliance, safety policies, and OSHA standards on every site.
• Partner with Business Development on site evaluations, due diligence, and configuration recommendations.

• 5+ years as a Project Manager in solar or electrical construction (solar PM experience strongly preferred).
• Deep knowledge of PV/DC systems, permitting, and compliance.
• Ability to read plans/specs, perform estimating and labor factor analysis, and manage project finances.
• Excel expert; proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Comfortable working long hours when the project demands it.
• Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred; computerized estimating experience a plus.
