Summary
Responsible for essential job functions related to shipping/receiving with limited supervision.
Essential Job Functions (Duties and Responsibilities)- Maintains shipping and receiving area as needed.
- Assists with loading and unloading trucks. Schedules truck shipments, UPS, and Fed Ex as needed.
- Interacts with customers as needed to clarify or communicate discrepancies and schedules.
- Inspects and records incoming and outgoing orders for count, damage, dates, etc.
- Brings any irregularities or other discrepancies/concerns to supervisor immediately.
- Promotes and practices safety and good housekeeping.
- Performs other tasks as assigned or dictated by position.
- Responsible for the care and treatment of customer’s inventory and performs duties in a safe and responsible manner to prevent loss or damage.
- Must have the ability to report for work on time, follow directions, interact effectively with co-workers, understand and follow rules and procedures and accept constructive criticism.
- This position must satisfy ITAR compliance requirements; therefore, candidates must be U.S. Citizens or Permanent Resident Card Holders.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum one year experience in computer applications, including Microsoft Office, and the ability to learn new software related to function.
- Some shipping experience desired.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain forklift certification.
- Must demonstrate the ability to read, write and communicate in English.
- Must be able to work in a sitting position for extended periods of time (at desk, while driving, and/or on airplane travel) in an industrial environment.
- Manual dexterity to perform data entry functions.
- Ability to bend, pull, stoop and reach to perform functions.
- Ability to lift 35 lbs.
- May be exposed to heat, fumes, noise, and humidity, etc.
- Must have the cognitive and mental capacity to perform essential job functions.
- Must be able to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
- Visual acuity to read documents, computer screens, files, etc.
- Ability to hear in person and via phone.
The hourly pay range for this position is $18.50–$38.86 per hour. Starting pay is determined based on experience, skills, and qualifications. This position is classified as non-exempt and is eligible for overtime pay in accordance with state and federal law. This role is eligible for additional compensation, including shift differential, if applicable.

Sign‑On Retention BonusThis position is eligible for a $1,500 sign‑on retention bonus.
