Pioneer GMP Consulting is a specialized life sciences consultancy focused on delivering high-impact GMP compliance, validation, and quality system solutions to biopharmaceutical clients. We support startups, CDMOs, and global manufacturers across the product lifecycle, from clinical-stage development to commercial readiness.
We’re seeking a Facilities Engineer to join our team at Pioneer GMP Consulting and support pharmaceutical and biotechnology manufacturing operations in the Cambridge/Boston area.
As part of our consulting team, you’ll operate as a trusted partner—embedded within client operations while remaining closely connected to and supported by Pioneer’s internal network of industry experts. You’ll play a key role in ensuring GMP facilities, utilities, and equipment are maintained, documented, and operating reliably to support safe, compliant manufacturing operations.
This is a highly hands-on role that combines field execution with strong GMP documentation responsibilities. You’ll spend time in manufacturing and utility areas overseeing maintenance activities, coordinating vendors, supporting calibration and preventive maintenance programs, and ensuring maintenance documentation is accurate, complete, and inspection-ready. Success in this role requires strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively across Facilities, Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and external service providers.
This is a long-term consulting opportunity—not a single project assignment. You’ll begin supporting an onsite client engagement in the Cambridge/Boston area while having opportunities to contribute across future client projects as part of Pioneer’s growing consulting team.
