Our client, a leading organization in the life sciences industry, is seeking a Facilities Technician 3 to join their team. As a Facilities Technician 3, you will be part of the Facilities Operations supporting laboratory and research environments. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location:

Cambridge, MA

Pay Range: $40-43 per hour

What's the Job?

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on critical life sciences facility systems
Monitor and support environmental control systems to ensure optimal research conditions
Coordinate with vendors and internal teams for routine and emergency repairs
Support building operations including inspections, carpentry, locksmithing, and space reconfigurations
Assist with lab moves, safety compliance, and regulatory readiness activities

What's Needed?

High school diploma, GED, or trade school graduate
2-5 years of experience in facility maintenance or related field
Knowledge of electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and facility infrastructure systems
Strong organizational and vendor management skills
Ability to work on-site in a regulated environment and lift up to 50 pounds
