Salary: $25-$35 per hour depending on experience and location.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and maintainoptimalfuel combustion in boiler systems to ensure efficient and reliable operation.
  • Operate and control variousauxiliaryequipment, includingdeaerators, feedwater pumps ensuringoptimalreliability.
  • Monitor boiler gauges, meters, and control panels to ensure proper functionality, andadjustcontrols as needed tomaintaindesired boiler performance.
  • Monitor and regulate fuel feed systems, ensuring an adequate and consistent fuel supply.
  • Perform routine inspections and tests on fuel systems, burners, and related equipment toidentifyand resolve any malfunctions or abnormalities.
  • Maintaina clean and safe workplace.

    Keepboilerroomclean and organized.
  • Assist with the maintenance and repair of boiler systems, including replacing or repairing worn or damaged parts as needed.
  • Follow established safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents, including fire hazards.
  • Keepaccuraterecords of boiler operations, fuel consumption, and maintenance activities.
  • Perform rounds to the mechanical, plumbing, structural, furniture, fire, life safety,and control systems. Keep facility and building systems up to applicable standards as assigned.

  • Comply withall applicable local, state, and federal codes, regulations, andcompany directives related to building operations and work safety.
  • Maintain an energy management program. Ensure all systemsoperatein the most efficient manner.
  • Assist with the implementation of a preventive maintenance program to ensurebuildingequipment reliability.
  • Follow departmental policies for the safe storage, usage, and disposal of hazardous materials.
  • Review inspectiontobuilding systems including fire alarms, HVAC, and plumbingtoensureoperation of equipment is within design capabilities andachievesenvironmental conditions prescribed by client.
  • Work within broad guidelines and policies.
  • Conduct routine maintenance inspections, diagnose potential problems and report tomanager.
  • Exchange straightforward information in a clear, concise manner.

    Clearly explain difficult or sensitive information.
  • Collaborate with other team members, such as Boiler Operators and maintenance staff, toensure smooth operation and maintenance of the boiler system.
  • Ability to apply standard principles and techniques to solve routine operational problems.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills with an inquisitive mindset.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite(Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Learn CMMS (EAM) for Preventive Maintenance andworkordercompletion and tracking
  • Enterqualitydetailedcomments(including, but not limited to equipment data)
  • Understand search and filter features
  • Configure Dataspyas needed

Learn basic BMS system operations - Delta and Metasys

  • Understand and master viewing graphics screens
  • Document and communicate inconsistent operational events

Learn basic Service Now Service ticketing

  • Submit Service Now ticket

Ability to exercise judgment based on multiple sources of information.

Follow all safety, risk and compliance policies and procedures.

Willingness to take a new perspective on existing solutions and support continuous improvement.

Physical Requirements:

Ability tostoop, stand, walk, climb stairs/ladders, and lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
