Boiler Room Operator

Jones Lang LaSalle Americas, Inc. is seeking a Boiler Room Operator to support safe, efficient operation of building mechanical systems in a commercial property. You will monitor and operate boilers, steam and hot water systems, and related HVAC equipment, perform inspections and preventive maintenance, and respond to alarms and service requests. Responsibilities include water testing and treatment, documenting operating data, coordinating repairs with vendors, and complying with safety and environmental regulations.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor boiler and steam systems to ensure safe, efficient performance.
• Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and minor repairs on boilers and related mechanical equipment.
• Monitor, test, and treat boiler water to maintain proper chemistry and system integrity.
• Respond to equipment alarms, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate repairs with vendors as needed.
• Log operating data, maintenance activities, and incidents in compliance with JLL and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with facilities and property management teams to support building comfort and reliability.
• Adhere to all safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements for boiler and plant operations.
