Facilities Technician

Our client, a leading organization in the life sciences industry, is seeking a Facilities Technician to join their team. As a Facilities Technician, you will be part of the Facilities Operations supporting laboratory and research environments. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location:Cambridge, MA

Pay Range: $40-43 per hour

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on critical life sciences facility systems
• Monitor and support environmental control systems to ensure optimal research conditions
• Coordinate with vendors and internal teams for routine and emergency repairs
• Support building operations including inspections, carpentry, locksmithing, and space reconfigurations
• Assist with lab moves, safety compliance, and regulatory readiness activities

• High school diploma, GED, or trade school graduate
• 2-5 years of experience in facility maintenance or related field
• Knowledge of electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and facility infrastructure systems
• Strong organizational and vendor management skills
• Ability to work on-site in a regulated environment and lift up to 50 pounds
