Institutional Services Assistant

Description

The Institutional Services Assistant works under general supervision and is responsible for general cleaning and upkeep of buildings. This position is governed by agency/institution policy.

• Cleaning classrooms, including floors, chalkboards and classroom furniture on a daily basis.
• Cleaning restrooms on a daily basis.
• Cleaning carpets on a daily basis.
• Cleaning other general use areas on a daily basis.
• Setting up furniture in conference and meeting rooms as needed.
• Performing other cleaning duties as needed, including cleaning windows, doors, baseboards, dusting furniture, etc.
• Working in a cooperative and productive manner with other team members.
• Stripping and waxing floors.
• Performing related responsibilities as required or assigned.

• High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED).
• Six months to one year of related experience.

• AR Driver's License.

The Institutional Services Assistant has frequent contact with other custodial workers.

This is an on-campus position. If not residing within a reasonable commuting distance from Camden, AR, relocation may be required.
