Camden Rockport Middle School, housed in a beautiful new building, serves just under 400 students in grades 5–8 from the towns of Camden and Rockport. CRMS has been implementing a Project Based Learning model of curriculum and instruction and values students' active engagement in the learning process.

Five Town CSD & MSAD #28 are now hiring year-round Custodians for our schools. The normal work schedule for these positions is 3 PM to 11:30 PM. Successful candidates will be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekend rotation, and be willing to adapt to different assignments from day to day.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and functional environment within the school buildings and grounds, including but not limited to:
  • General floor care and cleaning.
  • Restroom maintenance, including sanitizing and stocking.
  • Waste management.
  • Window/Wall cleaning.
• Perform minor repairs to ensure the proper functioning of building systems.
• Aid in set-up for special events.
• Aid with snow/ice removal as needed.

• Knowledge of safety procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power machinery.
• Ability to perform a wide range of cleaning duties.
• Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and other staff.
• Time management and prioritization skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Dexterity in problem‑solving.

• Background check, including fingerprinting.
• Maine Department of Education CHRC Approval.

• Pay is $20.27 – $25.72 per hour based on experience, within the parameters of the applicable contract.
