As a 3 rd Class Dismantler at My Auto Store , you will be responsible for assisting in the dismantling of vehicles by performing non-technical tasks under supervision.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support basic dismantling tasks such as removing non-essential components and preparing vehicles for further disassembly.
  • Conduct vehicle greening procedures by extracting motor oil, transmission fluid and antifreeze, and ensure that all fluids are disposed of properly.
  • Assume responsibility for the maintenance and cleanliness of tools and equipment used in dismantling operations.
  • Execute dry ice blasting on vehicles to remove dirt, grime, and other surface coatings, ensuring a clean and polished finish.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), to minimize the risk of accidents or injuries.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in automotive repair, dismantling, or salvage operations preferred.
  • Frequent bending and kneeling during the shift.
  • Ability to lift, carry, and move objects up to 50 lbs. as needed.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Training or certification in automotive mechanics, auto body repair, or similar discipline preferred.
