Overview

The Division of Institutional Planning & Operations (IP&O) employs approximately 2,700 staff and is responsible for various service and business operations across the State of New Jersey, including planning, construction, facilities, public safety, environmental health, transportation, housing, and auxiliary operations.

Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a Custodian for the Division of Institutional Planning & Operations (IP&O).

• Performs a wide variety of routine custodial duties required to maintain buildings and grounds in a clean and habitable condition.
• Performs basic maintenance and repair duties on University facilities and equipment.

• No experience required.
• Must have the ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

• Must have the ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and operate all custodial machines and equipment.
• May be required to work at times in inclement weather and is considered essential personnel.
