Custodial Services Worker - Aquarium

Job Description

Aramark is hiring Custodial Services Workers to support operations at Adventure Aquarium. This role is responsible for cleaning and maintaining public spaces throughout the aquarium, including restrooms, exhibit areas, and high-traffic guest spaces. You will help ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for guests, school groups, and daily visitors.

This is a hands‑on, active role that involves walking throughout a multi‑level facility and completing a variety of cleaning tasks during your shift.

• Primary need:
  Afternoon/Evening shifts (3:00 PM – 11:00 PM)
• Additional shifts may include:
  • 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
  • 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Schedule may vary based on events and guest volume

The hourly rate for this position is $15.92 to $15.92.

• Clean and maintain public areas, including exhibit glass, restrooms, lobbies, classrooms, and theater spaces
• Perform vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and floor care
• Clean and disinfect high‑touch surfaces and guest areas
• Maintain and properly use cleaning equipment and chemicals
• Follow procedures for trash collection and disposal
• Report maintenance or safety concerns to leadership
• Support cleaning needs during busy guest periods, events, and school visits
• Follow all safety, sanitation, and compliance standards
• In order to meet our commitments, job duties may change or new ones may be assigned without formal notice.

• Previous custodial experience preferred.
• Able to follow basic safety procedures and precautions due to physical risks and exposure to hazardous chemicals.
• Maintains friendly, efficient, positive guest service demeanor towards guests, clients, and co‑workers.
• Adaptable to guests’ needs.

This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of personal protective equipment (PPE).
