Job Description Reporting to the Director of Housekeeping, the Housekeeping Manager plays an integral part in the hotel’s strategic repositioning as luxury hotel in all key segments. The Housekeeping Manager is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness of the entire Hotel, managing and administrating the entire Housekeeping, Laundry, Uniform Room and Health Club operation, and ensuring Guests receive the highest possible level of efficiency, services and comfort.

Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging serviceManage daily housekeeping operations, including guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces.Ensure Fairmont Brand- and Forbes service standards are adhered toAddress guest concerns and respond in a timely manner, logging and notifying departments as requiredConduct regularly scheduled departmental meetingsOversee payroll, scheduling, inventory control, and supply ordering to ensure efficient department operations. Manage labor costs and departmental expenses responsiblyOversee the recruitment and training of all Housekeeping Colleagues as well as conducting room audit.Ensure high morale and productivity levels through staff planning, recruitment, training and development and on-going communication including performance reviews and career development discussions.Balance operational, administrative and Colleague needsEnsure workplace safety and compliance with sanitation policies.Report and follow up on necessary maintenance items to ensure optimal guest experiences.Follow all safety and sanitation policiesEnsure employees are informed daily about priorities to personalize serviceFlexibility to work evenings weekends and holidays as required.
