Job Details
Experience: Mid Level
Salary: $40 - $50 per hour
Key Responsibilities- Convert work requests into fully planned work orders, including internal operations, material purchases, requisitions, service purchases, and labor coordination
- Coordinate preventive maintenance schedules with maintenance and operations departments, covering machinery, tooling, and general services
- Distribute weekly PM work orders (cleaning, lubrication, adjustments, inspections, small repairs, surveillance) and kit all jobs to ensure parts are staged and ready
- Manage storeroom inventory control and order parts as needed to support scheduled and unplanned maintenance
• Gather data and distribute recurring reports on work order backlogs, daily breakdown statistics, and maintenance performance KPIs - Review work order feedback from trades and make recommendations to correct master data and task lists
- Participate in and facilitate scheduling meetings, shift crossovers, and weekly team KPI reviews
- Interface with Maintenance Supervisor, Maintenance Manager, and Engineering Manager to incorporate Best Business Practices
- Maintain the CMMS database and ensure data integrity across all work order and equipment records
- Conduct daily walkthroughs with plant operations to identify abnormalities; perform weekly air leak audits and monthly 5S audits
- Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and environmental requirements in all maintenance activities
- Education:
University degree required - Three to five years of experience in plant maintenance and operations; experience in both areas preferred
- Previous experience with a CMMS is required; ability to configure and maintain the system
- Working knowledge of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) principles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
- Strong communication and team-building skills; ability to interface effectively across departments and leadership levels
- Ability to set priorities, work independently, and manage multiple projects simultaneously
