Overnight Maintenance Mechanic

Maintenance Mechanic – Canton, MA

Location:

Canton, MA

Shift: Monday – Thursday | 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM

Pay: $35–$42/hr + 20% shift differential (based on experience, education, and qualifications)

The Maintenance Mechanic will coordinate maintenance projects, perform facility and production equipment maintenance, and report directly to the Maintenance Supervisor.

• Perform general office and manufacturing maintenance
• Lubricate and service heavy production machinery
• Repair and replace bearings, gear-heads, belts, chains, conveyors, filters, and other components
• Modify structural components to improve safety, efficiency, and cost savings
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform repairs
• Maintain a strong focus on Environment, Health & Safety standards
• Complete additional maintenance tasks as assigned

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 5+ years of industrial mechanical maintenance experience in a production environment
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Knowledge of pneumatic cylinders and controls
• Familiarity with environmental, health, and safety regulations
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Forklift certification is a plus
• Extrusion and sheet line experience is a plus
