Floor Technician

Job Summary

Floor Technician is responsible for floor maintenance, restoration, and operation of industrial floor care equipment.

Madison County Parkway, Canton, MS 39046

Full time, Monday through Friday, 7:00 am – 3:30 pm.

Fixed pay rate: $15.00 per hour.

• Maintain knowledge of hard‑surface floor maintenance principles and use proper procedures for hard floor care including stripping, refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, and spray buffing.
• Operate various types of industrial floor care equipment.
• Utilize automated equipment for cleaning large floor areas.
• Apply proper procedures on carpet and upholstery, including shampooing, damp surface cleaning, extractions, spot cleaning, and vacuuming.
• Perform maintenance and restorative processes for all floor surface types.
• Complete other duties as assigned by the manager.

• Previous experience as a floor‑care technician or in a related role preferred.
• Proven knowledge of floor‑care equipment and techniques required.
• Ability to follow safety procedures.
• Requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of up to 50 lb.
