PERFORMANCE

RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Clean (exhibit good housekeeping skills), check (include: lights, windows,

doors,set alarmsecure building, etc.) and secure assigned areas such

as classrooms, stairways, halls,restrooms, locker rooms as

required/directed

* Report regularly at assigned time

* Shall deviate from assigned work schedule only as requested by supervisor

* Wash windows; clean furniture, rugs, and carpeting; scrub/wax floor.

* Clear walks and entrances, shovel snow, remove ice and debris, as

needed

* Assist in setting up gym or other areas for activities such as assemblies,

programs,athletic,or intramural events as required and/or

directed

* Report, in writing to the Head Custodian, irregularities, malfunctioning

equipment, or problems or as needed

* Occasional work with equipment/devices involving electricity, natural gas,

& hydraulic fluids,such as electric floor scrubbers, & other cleaning

equipment

* Deal with students in a friendly manner, even the occasional unruly student

* Comply with all Plain Local Board of Education policies and procedures

* Perform other duties as directed
