Property Maintenance Aide

Canton Mancan Staffing Agency is assisting a local company in hiring a Property Maintenance Aide!

Hours:

8:00am–4:30pm | Pay: $18–$22/hr (based on experience)
A clean background, valid driver’s license, and reliable transportation are required, as travel between sites may be necessary.
Prior maintenance experience is required for this role.

Job Summary:

The Property Maintenance Aide performs a variety of general and semi-skilled maintenance, cleaning, painting, and repair duties to ensure housing units are properly maintained and meet HUD regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing vacant units for occupancy, including cleaning and making repairs.
• Perform basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and HVAC repairs.
• Paint, clean, and maintain interior and exterior areas.
• Respond to maintenance work orders and emergencies promptly.
• Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Transport tools and materials between sites as needed.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior experience in property or building maintenance.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work independently.
• Must be physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and performing manual labor.
