St. Andrew Parish is seeking a Part-time Maintenance Associate who will maintain all aspects of maintenance for parish buildings and property.

Job Responsibilities:

• Custodial cleaning and maintenance of buildings and grounds
• Set ups for events and meetings
• Secure all buildings on campus as needed
• Custodial duties including: cleaning, vacuuming, bathrooms, windows, for all buildings on campus
• Electrical:
  Perform all minor repairs such as outlets, switches, light bulbs and fixtures.
• Air Conditioning:
  Replace belts, filters and thermostats as needed.
• Plumbing:
  Repair water leaks; replace faucets, open drains as needed.
• General maintenance/carpentry of walls, doors, windows, carpet, tile, caulk and paint where needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma, GED or equivalent.
• 3-5 years of experience in a similar role.
• Plumbing or electric license desired.
• Working knowledge of building equipment.
• Understanding of safety protocols and disposal of hazardous waste items.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., without assistance.
• Ability to work indoors as well as outdoors.
• Ability to stand, bend, twist, stoop, push, pull, climb continuously.
• Ability to communicate clearly with vendors, staff, and parishioners.
• Must pass a post offer DOV assigned physical exam.
