SD Recruitment is seeking an experienced and dynamic Hospitality Operations Supervisor to join our team based in Century City. This role is ideal for a hands-on hospitality professional with strong operational oversight, client relationship management, and people management skills.

You will oversee multiple hospitality accounts, manage on-site operations, and serve as the primary point of contact between clients and SD Recruitment—ensuring consistent service excellence across all assignments.

Job Function:
As the Hospitality Operations Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing hospitality staff placements, overseeing daily operations at client sites, and maintaining strong, professional client relationships.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Coordinating staffing requirements and shift allocations
  • Conducting regular site visits and operational checks
  • Managing staff performance, attendance, and discipline where required
  • Resolving operational challenges and client queries efficiently
  • Ensuring compliance with company policies, labour standards, and client requirements
  • Working closely with internal recruitment, payroll, and compliance teams to ensure smooth onboarding and accurate reporting
Professional conduct, operational efficiency, and client satisfaction will be key measures of success in this role.

Requirements:
  • Valid South African
  • Valid driver’s licence and own reliable vehicle
  • Proven hospitality operations experience (events, hotels, venues, or similar environments)
  • Strong people management and communication skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays when required
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Computer literacy (email, spreadsheets, reporting)
