Sign/Marking Tech 1 - $19.82 to $32.28
Sign/Marking Tech 2 - $21.85 to $35.58
Sign/Marking Tech 3 - $24.09 to $39.23/hr.

Under direct supervision of the Traffic Manager, fabricates, installs, inspects, and repairs traffic control signs and markings.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• One year of experience in painting, signs, or construction.
• Must possess, or ability to obtain within sixty days of employment, and maintain a New Mexico CDL-B driver’s license.
• Must possess, or ability to obtain within six months of employment, and maintain an IMSA or ATSSA Work Zone Certification Level I.
• Successful completion of the pre-employment physical exam prior to commencing work.
• Successful completion of mandatory drug screening and subsequent random drug and alcohol screenings.

• Three years’ experience in traffic operations and operating, maintaining, and repairing mechanical or power equipment such as compressors, paint guns and post drivers.
• Must possess, or ability to obtain within six months of employment, and maintain an IMSA or ATSSA Signs and Marking Specialist Level I, Vehicle Mounted Aerial Lift, and Forklift Certificate.

• Four years’ experience in traffic operations and operating, maintaining, and repairing mechanical or power equipment such as compressors, paint guns and post drivers.
• Must possess, or ability to obtain within six months of employment, and maintain an IMSA or ATSSA Signs and Marking Specialist Level II.

• One-year traffic operations lead technician capacity.
• Familiarity with Flexi Professional Sign Making Software.
• IMSA Signs and Marking Certification Level III.
